Wayne Scully, CPA, brings almost 20 years of diverse tax, financial, and business consulting experience to his role as a Certified Public Accountant. He opened his accounting firm, W Scully, CPA, PC, back in October 2010.

Wayne Scully, CPA, is a New York–licensed Certified Public Accountant with over two decades of experience helping individuals, investors, and small business owners navigate complex tax challenges. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with honors from the City University of New York (York College) and holds multiple credentials in tax representation, estate planning, and financial compliance, including:

Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

For 20 years, he has provided solutions including: tax advisory and preparation; non-attest services (i.e., day-to-day and periodic accounting); external and internal audit services. Solutions provided to clients of varying type, such as, individuals, real estate companies, small businesses, and public companies.

Wayne has expertise in providing comprehensive accounting services, including individual, corporate, partnership, and nonprofit income tax returns and audits, compilations, and payroll tax reports. However, his main focus is in the areas of Tax Resolution & Tax Planning where he saves clients thousands of dollars in taxes, penalties and interest.

In addition, Wayne has expertise in consulting services and, coupled with the desire to help his clients build and maintain wealth, he supplements his solutions with life insurance and fixed annuities. Starting in 2016, he became an Insurance Agent licensed by the State of New York and, subsequently by Florida state, to offer insurance products including the following: Annuities, Life, Accident, Health, and Travel Accident insurance.

Continuing on his path to help clients maintain and retain wealth, Wayne also embarked on the journey to learn estate planning strategies thus putting his energy into becoming a Certified Estate Planner because “everyone needs an estate plan”. In June 2017, he became certified by the National Institute of Certified Estate Planners.

He is a proud father of two children, including a son who is an honors graduate of Howard University. In his free time, Wayne enjoys movies, staying active through workouts, and traveling throughout the Caribbean.
